They really are an excellent set of budget hair straighteners that do their job really well.

The Ceramic plates really do tame your hair and lock in the moisture as well.

I like basic machines because with the complicated ones there is more to go wrong and with the complex machines you waste a lot of time selecting the best setting.

These are an excellent set that gives good results from the off.

Believe me this is the set that will be used on a regular basis simply because they give great results.

The tech for this type of product has increased whilst the cost has come down.

For twenty pounds they are a bargain.

Easy to use, has nice features., 1 Sept. 2016

My wife has an aged more expensive Remington Straightener. So she was a bit lukewarm when I presented this little beauty as she had never head of Nicky Clarke before. The demeanor changed after she tried the straightener and said she was surprised they did as well as more costly straighteners. High on the list of features is that it heats up quickly, glides smoothly and heat setting selection.This does a good job at a lower price.

Fast, Light and easy to use - a great set of straigheners, 15 Sept. 2016

There are a couple of things I want from straighteners:Firstly they have to be fast - and these heat up very quickly. From turning them on I am using them in less than 30 seconds. They also cool down rapidly to increase safety.Secondly I want them to comfortable to hold, these are lighter than many of others of a similar size and therefore they are easy to use in the harder to reach areas. They also lock together to make them easy to carry and travel with.Thirdly I want them to do the job on the first pass so I don’t have to keep going over my head, the variable temperature means that the control is in your hands to choose what is right for your hair. I have fine hair and I use the second setting and my hair feels soft but not dried out when I use them.For the price these are excellent value for money and do a great job.
