A good product and a nice gift set., 3 Sept. 2016

I have always liked Nivea products. This gift set comes with a dark blue manly looking wash bag (approx. 24cm x 12cmx 6 cm). Its a good size and a nice bag. The shower gel has a pleasant masculine smell in an easy to use shower dispenser. The cream is light and absorbs well with a pleasant scent. I would prefer it not to be in a shoe polish type tin. I can see me forgetting to replace the lid. The cream itself, I like. The anti-perspirant is in a spray can. I prefer roll on. It again has a pleasant scent and works well. The products are good. I would have prefered a roll on anti-perspirant and a different dispenser for the cream (purely a personal view). A good product. A nice gift set that will get used.

Functional value pack with quite a basic bag, 6 Sept. 2016

RRPs fluctuate all the time, but at the time of writing, this toiletry bag is only a tiny bit more expensive than buying the 3 Nivea products individually, making the toilet bag a bit of a bonus. When you look at it this way, rather than “buy the bag and get the three products free!”, it’s fine. Yes, the toiletry bag is a bit primitive and feels a little bit cheap. The striped fabric strap on it reminds me of 1980’s school sports kit bags. It’s surprisingly large, certainly larger than the toiletry bag I normally use, and it will take my entire bathroom kit, including my electric shaver, shampoo, shower gel, the whole lot. A few more functional details such as internal pockets would have been nice though.

All three of the products have the ‘Nivea standard’ aroma, which is very close to being scentless, but with just faint hints of lemon, vanilla and yoghurt. It’s subtle, inoffensive, and familiar.

In the cause of true journalism and honest reviews I recently abandoned my tried and trusted beauty regime ( coal tar soap and water) to immerse myself in the world of Nivea! To this end I was sent the Nivea wash kit, comprising sensitive shower gel, sensitive deodorant and moisturiser all packaged in a rather snazzy wash bag.

Firstly, I like the bag. Now, I wouldn't claim that I have particularly sensitive skin (although as a red head my skin is fair and delicate) but I thought what the hell go for it. For two weeks I have used the shower gel as face wash, bath wash and shower gel and I can honestly say that I like it. It's not overly perfumed and does leave my skin feeling nice and soft, it also rinses off well. The deodorant, again is lightly scented and does not, like most deodorants ( take a bow any Lynx product) cause any irritation and keeps you dry and comfy.

The moisturiser comes in a flat tin and is, I think, rather runny. I was worried about putting it...
