Fabulous Stocking Filler or Year Round Gift Set, 13 Sept. 2015

I love Nivea Gift Sets and I normally buy a lot of their sets throughout the year and especially at Christmas time as you will see from my past reviews and so this has been really nice to get to test out another of their newly updated sets. This set is brilliant and would make a lovely gift or stocking filler at Christmas time. I have bought a lot of their sets in the past and have been impressed with not only the full size products but also the beautiful presentation and toiletry bags included and this set is another brilliant set from Nivea and one I am sure I will be purchasing as gifts in the future too.

The set comes with:

1 x 250ml Waterlily & Oil Shower Gel

1 x 50ml Nivea Antiperspirant Roll-on Powder Touch

1 x 200ml Moisturising Cream

1 x Shower Puff

1 x Toiletry Bag

This is a great gift set from Nivea that comes in a. Really nice presentation bag.

The bag is a bright pink, but not overly garish, and is opened with a single zip across the whole of the top. It's initially sealed with one of those annoying plastic clips that need to be cut off, though.

Inside it has a washing sponge ball, a deodorant, shower gel and moisturising cream, plus a plastic airbag to fill up the space and keep the bag looking good.

The 3 toiletries each have a different smell, the moisterising cream is classic Nivea, while the deodorant has a subtle fragrance and the shower gel is the strongest (though still smells really nice). They work together surprisingly well despite this difference in scent, though.

My wife tested the set out and gave her opinion. The shower gel has little pearls and a lovely pink colour and is easy to lather. The deodorant seems to work well and is easy to roll on to the skin without any after effects...

A well-thought out set of pleasant to use products; a great gift idea, 13 Sept. 2015

This is a great value set which would make a good present. Included in the pink zipped bag (which is quite a grown up shade of pink) is water lily and oil shower gel, which looks pretty in pink in its see through bottle. You get a pink shower puff to lather up the shower gel. Its fragrance is subtle rather than overpowering, and definitely feminine. Also included is a deodorant which has a pleasant powdery scent, and blends nicely with the shower gel. Finally, there is a fairly substantial pot of moisturiser which claims to be suitable for face, body and hands. It's got quite a buttery/creamy consistency but I was pleased that it didn't feel greasy on the skin and was absorbed really well. I used it after I'd been swimming; chlorine dries the skin so this was a good test. Although slightly cautious about putting this on my rather sensitive face as well, I decided to risk it given that Nivea is a tried and tested skin care brand.
