My wife is virtually bed bound now and we messed about with inflatable 'pools' and such like with a bucket and pipe to drain the water. Then we found these. So much easier to use. And they work. Expensive for washing your hair really but simple and effective. Now, if they could only work on the price!

This product was recommended by a friend with an elderly bedridden aunt. It does what it says, no water, no hassle, no problem. My 93 year old immobile aunt was thrilled with the result and she didn't even have to leave her comfy chair. Cheaper than a difficult visit to the hairdresser too.

I bought these to use on my elderly Mum who is bedridden and has Alzheimer's. I tried one myself to see how stressful or uncomfortable the process might be and I'm glad I did. First of all, I found the cap containing the shampoo was very heavy. My hair is shoulder length and fitted well inside the cap but as I massaged to get the shampoo working, drips were running down my forehead and neck. (Mum's hair is short so this would be a worse problem for her). Next step, took the cap off and towel dried hair before using hairdryer. My hair felt heavy and hard - not at all silky! It took much longer than usual to dry and felt awful; my hair felt sticky, had no shine and really needed a wash before I could go anywhere. I would have loved this product to work but, sadly, for me it was a disaster. I binned the other two shampoo caps and wrote the whole episode off as an expensive mistake!!
