I do like it - BUT, 13 Aug. 2013

As a soap I much prefer this to any commercial soap I have tried. I use this for face and body (be aware not to apply this soap directly from the bar to the face, lather into hands first or you will find it VERY drying).

I don't usually write reviews but I thought I should leave a comment about the ingredients of this soap. Whilst it BASICALLY has all of the staple ingredients of an African Black Soap, it is definitely not the same as the raw type. I also noted that in the ingredient list of this particular product here on Amazon one of the ingredients is listed as palm oil. The implications of using palm oil in a natural/health product are fairly great and if you aren't aware of the environmental impact of palm oil I'd suggest looking into it.

It's a good product and I find the benefits to my skin (oily/dry) have so far, three weeks into use, have been pretty good. But I will be trying the "real deal" next as I was not aware that this wasn't the same as the RAW...

I have very sensitive skin because I suffer from psoriasis. This soap makes me less itchy. I think everybody with sensitive skin should try it. I like the smell as well.

The smell is really really good! It os sweet but not overwhelmingly so!The first time i washed my face with this, i could immediately tell the difference between other face products and this face product. My face felt cleaner, as though i have just done a mud mask! And it also felt much softer than before.I would suggest using the product with a facial brush because it create more foam and makes it quite refreshing.
