The Ordinary. Vitamin C SUSPENSION 23% + hialuronic acid Spheres 2% 30 ml is available in Creams

This formula without water and without silicone offers a 23% of pure l-ascórbico acid, which are kept completely stable thanks to the lack of water. The system is reinforced with the addition of dried areas of hyaluronic acid to provide softness to the visible surface, along with the benefits of Vitamin C. This treatment should be applied preferably before bedtime. All except the sensitive skins from 30 years.

Positives: 1. Price; 2. It really works! I've been using every night for a week and some of my brown spots have faded a lot!Negatives: 1. It is granular and cannot be used under make up, so it is a night cream (but at night i use retinol so I had to drop my retinol to use this product. I wish they had made it liquid (like the timeless one!) ; 2. Because it is granular it dissolves when it touches the skin , so although they say it is 23% vit c you don't know how much is getting into the skin; and also even after 2, 3 hours you can still feel the granular on your skin; 3. It gives a little burning sensation (not so much on my face but my neck gets very red!); 4. I feel that if I put moisturiser on top of the vit c it just sits on the surface, not being absorbed.Would I buy it again? Yes to use on my neck and chest and maybe once a week on my face , but i will carry on with the timeless one during the day. But if you dont use retinol it is a great product to use at night.

Vitamin C Moisturiser., 16 April 2017

This fragrance-free, reasonably priced, Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2% moisturiser from Canadian brand ‘The Ordinary’ comes in an opaque, hygienic tube, which I like, making it easy to use, and it will protect the delicate light and air sensitive ingredients this formula contains.

This cream has a high amount of potent antioxidant vitamin C (ascorbic acid) with emollient squalane, and skin restoring sodium hyaluronate. It’s said to be suitable for all skin types, and on application it has a quite a rich texture and takes time to be fully absorbed by the skin, which people with more oily skins may struggle with, although once fully absorbed it has an unusual dry matte finish. It lacks a high broad spectrum SPF so is best used at night, although of course it could be tried under an SPF product.

Vitamin C has a lot of established research showing that it can help to improve the look of the multiple signs of skin ageing, brightening an uneven skin tone, as...
