SERIOUSLY FANTASTIC SHAVINGS AND SAVINGS, 4 Oct. 2014

I've been meaning to review this for a while now, just never got around to it for one reason or another. I've had this for over a year and use it about four times a week both for my face and more intimate parts. I cannot help but be truly and justifiably impressed by this little bit of rubber!! I have only used ONE Fusion Pro Blade in this time and it is still going strong without any pulling, tugging, nicking or scratching. It's as simple as this: Apply a little bit of shaving gel (about the size of a pea) on to the block, rub it over the sharpening surface, wet the blade and push up from the bottom of the block to the top four times. I tend to do this before and after shaving just to make sure it is totally clear of any soap, hairs that can dry and block the gaps in the blade).

I have saved a small fortune on blades over the year. Whilst I don't have a heavy growth of facial hair; never had a five o'clock shadow but noticeable enough nevertheless. I cannot rate...

Great idea for a product. Love the economics of this item., 5 Sept. 2014

Works excellently for Wilkinson Sword hydro 5 blades, they really do look "fresh" shine elegantly and the hair and skin debris get removed thoroughly. The Razorpit has made me realize how bad Gillette fusion proglide blades are (DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND CAPITAL ON MODERN GILLETTE!) I tried the razorpit with a proglide blade and I feel the design is so poor on these blades even this great razorpit can't do them proper justice, because the fusion blades are too close together hair can't get properly removed, especially from the corners of the blades. Thus even after cleaning on the razorpit they don't shave well at all. So bad I have thrown my 2 year old fusion proglide out.

I think because the Wilkinson Sword blades and further apart and better designed in my view. The cut, clean and indeed last longer. I have been using the same Hydro 5 blade for something in or around 6 months now. Most of that is before I even owned a razorpit of course. What does that tell...

A money saver for expensive blades, 8 Dec. 2014

I have to admit at being a little sceptical at the thought of being able to sharpen cartridge blades, but I took a gamble thinking I could send it back if I wasn't happy.

I am using Gillette fusion proglide blades which I have paid between £1.50 to £2 per blade depending on deals etc. The blade lasts me around a week of daily shaving against the growth whereupon they start to dull, a few shaves after this and they are dragging and needing to be replaced by the end of week 2.

This is easy to use; a little splodge of shave gel and push the blade along the bed 4 times. The is no saying how much pressure you are supposed to put on the blade, but if you press too hard it doesn't swipe. Gentle pressure seems to be about right.

I have used this quite a bit now and the blade life has exceeded what I normally would have gotten out of it. First time I used this I had a blade that was just starting to turn. I didn't notice much difference, but swiped it after...
