I bought this gel for my 12 month old little girl who has an ear length side fringe that's always in her eyes like a sheepdog. It's not odourless, but it doesn't have a strong smell either. When first smoothed on her hair, it works fine, it holds and is not sticky or hard...But...as soon as she lays on the floor to play, puts anything on her head (which is aaall the time), or goes for a sleep, her fringe is back to the way it was before, like we haven't even put any gel in there. It would probably hold a tiny baby's hair, or if the hair is in a pony tail or something it might hold flyaway's... but to actually hold hair in place, it really doesn't work. However,it's the only gel i could find for babies/toddlers so we will continue to use it until it's empty, but i wouldn't spend so much money on this expensive product again.

Good hair gel which I use on my toddler's curly hair it holds his hair down without making it feel sticky. Only downside is once he has had a nap the process needs repeating.

Does the job, and isn't too harsh for my 15 months old's hair. I find it best to spray hair with an oil mist spray(Johnson's baby/supermarkets own) before putting the gel in, which adds and keeps moisture in his hair whilst the gel holds my sons curls beautifully all day long (even after naps). ....Without the oil spray added first, the gel tends to dry out a little throughout the day and turns into unsightly white flakes/residue.
