Handy for small cuts. A must have for shaving and first aid kit., 19 Feb. 2015
For a first time straight razor user like me, this stick is really helpful for when you've nicked your face while shaving. You should know that it will sting a lot at first,like for just few seconds but then the bleeding will stop immediately. Also i would suggest you only wet the tip of it with very little water before using it or else the water dripped will leave some mineral stains all over you face and sink.I like how it taste salty and will leave your tongue a slight numb if you lick it. LOL

First of all, this is small. Very small. And thin. It is more like a small pencil than anything else. Also, I was kind of expecting a lipstick type thing withossibly a push up mechanism, but it is simply a stick of Alum or minerals.When applied to a small cut or Nick it stings for a second then stops the bleeding, but when your skin dries you are left with a white powder residue.All in all a handy little addition to any medicine cabinet.
