Panasonic beat Braun, again, 13 Aug. 2010
Bought this to replace another ageing Panasonic shaver. Wow, what a shave. This confirms to me that Panasonic beat Braun, a much closer shave and the foils last ages, in fact the old one still has its orignal after 3 years, just the battery life is about 3 days now instead of at least 7 when new. If have you any doubts about replacing another make, don't, go for one of these, you will not be unhappy.

Best I have used., 14 July 2011

I have tried 3 electric razors over the past couple of years, a cheapo wired foil one, a cheapish rotary one, and this one. First foil one left my face hurting, the rotary i could never get used to and also hurt my face, and this one, and is amazing compared to the other 2. This doesnt hurt my face like the others, its also quieter and seems to give a slightly better shave. I havent yet tried a wet shave with it so cant comment on that.

There are 2 gripes with it though, (arent there always).

The first is charging, the charging light never goes out even if you leave it charging for hours, which seems a bit stupid. Also it has a none standard 2 pin charging adapter, so thats more waste when you eventually throw it away.

The second is it doesnt seem to do such a good job with longer hairs if you havent shaved for 3 days, it works ok with 2 days growth (for me anyway) but more than that it struggles cutting longer hairs on the neck area.

Fantastic little shaver! Wet shave closeness from and electric shaver!, 23 July 2010
Wow. Gobsmacked would be an understatement, this is a true work of genius. A waterproof shaver that really does give you a truly close shave. I have been looking for a shaver to replace my old shaver. Strewth, what have I been missing? I cannot recommend this shaver highly enough (but watch out for razor burn, it is a bummer until your skin toughens up!), the ease of use when combined with a shaving gel (I use King of Shaves gel) just cannot be surpassed (I also have a gillette mach5 turbo, the only other razor that gets close to the Panasonic, it is a manual one!!!).Buy one today, you won't regret it, I haven't and I'm a sod to keep happy!:)Biz
