Brilliant Nose Hair Trimmer, 29 Oct. 2013

I bought this for my husband who has quite stubborn and hard-to-get-rid-of nose hair, which is quite noticeable and grows like a weed. It was inexpensive and I have to admit, I wasn't expecting much gratitude, but it does a fab job and is comfortable to use. I've even tried it myself, despite not having half the problem my husband does with his facial orifice hair. (Hope he never reads this...but if he does, I'm only telling the truth for the benefit of others.) Anyway, it cuts the hairs without snagging them unlike our previous model, which I tried for a laugh in the bathroom ages ago. (That one made me scream! So much for mucking about with the contents of my husband's side of the bathroom cabinet.) The top comes off and can be cleaned under the tap, which is essential given the job it has to tackle. The blade operates safely under the metal bit at the top, so there's no danger of an accidental nose job. Very easy to use - it just has an on/off switch, so no tough decisions to make...

I just bought this to replace the awful Philips NT9110 which misses hairs, scrapes your nose and sounds like a tractor. The Panasonic is brilliant with quiet operation. The blade inside, the box informs me, has edges on the top rather than just along the sides, so it cuts hair that is introduced into the top of the cutter rather than just the sides.I used the Philips trimmer first, and then used the Panasonic after, which promptly managed to cut away much more hair that the Philips had missed. That's all you need to know; this one is the best.

As I enter middle age I want to protect those around me from exposure to the inevitable growth of unsightly ear and nose hair, therefore, I bought this Panasonic trimmer. I am delighted with the design and quality of this product especially in light of the price. Functionally it's very effective and good ergonomics make it very easy to use. The unit runs for ages off the single AA battery which although, it was supplied, when I received my trimmer, recent comments suggest that is no longer the case. This Panasonic device trims hairs very easily and can be rinsed clean under the tap. It also comes complete with a conical cover for the blade and a small cleaning brush. In summary, well designed, effective and excellent value for money. Recommended.
