Good, Easy, to Use Razor, 10 Aug. 2015

This shaver comes with a cleaning brush, small bottle of lubrication oil, comb attachment and an instruction booklet.

Helpfully, it only took one hour to charge which is far better than other shavers I have used which take a lot longer so that

is easier on the pocket.

I have used this shaver for three weeks and found it easy to use and glides easily over the contours of your face. It is

smooth too. A big positive is that it can be used wet/dry, so is versatile. I used it with shaving foam and again it performs

effortlessly. The sideburns trimmer is integral and gives a straight clean finish and thereby prevents the remaining small stubble

which other shavers without the attachment leave. I did not get any 'razor burn' after use, so it appeal to those with a sensitive skin.

For cleaning, the booklet advises in the first instance to use running water on the shaver, outer foil, trimmer and comb attachment.

Great Shaver At A Reasonable Price, 4 Aug. 2015

I don't very often go for foil style shavers, instead preferring rotary style but I thought I'd give the Panasonic ES-RT47-S a go to see how it compares to my current Philips.

Everything comes boxed neatly, the shaver and all the accessories along with the rather large instruction manual. One thing you don't get is a travel case which I like to have included with a shaver for storing in when I'm away at weekends or for when I go away on holiday. That said, everything that you'll need to use with the shaver is included.

The shaver itself is a nice size and has a good grip to it with the sides being made in a rubbery material. This shaver can be used for a wet shave and that's when you need to be able to grip the shaver the most, I've dropped countless shavers in this situation. On the front of the shaver you'll find the power button as well as a battery and separate charge indicator. On the back of the shaver is a slide up trimmer which comes in handy, especially...

Decent Shaver At A Great Price, 3 Aug. 2015

My previous shaver was a Braun Series 3 model 380 which I was comfortable enough with to have replaced it with the same model when it finally gave up the ghost.

It is now on it's last legs and I was considering buying the same again but decided on this one instead for a couple of reasons.

The two main advantages this has over the Braun are that the head swivels which does make shaving a bit easier, especially on my chin dimple. The other reason was I have a small stubble goatee so have always had to use a separate specialized beard shaver with an adjustable length guard so to see a standard shaver with an adjustable guard makes it a lot simpler.

The shave is about the same as Braun and I would say short of using a razor it's about as good as you will get from an electric shaver. The stubble guard is simple and effective to use.
