Have bought these recently and only used twice but even so its obvious these are top end clippers. I'm very thin on top and like to keep a close crop but have always found 2 major problems with the numerous other clippers i've tried. First of all getting the exact length of cut. These clippers can be set to cut from 0.8mm to 2.0mm without attachments. ( With attachments there are many more cut lengths available ) I find that 1.1 gives me exactly the length that feels comfortable. Other cheaper makes I've tried didnt seem to be able to make an exact cut and if you adjusted them you still seemed to get the same length no matter what the setting. No problem with these clippers. The other issue I always had with cheaper clippers is that they miss a lot of finer hairs even if you go over the area several times. Again no problem here, these clippers lift everything leaving a nice precise cut. I know they are quite expensive but to me the preciseness is well worth paying for and...

No metter what they will tell you, Panasonic are the best in the field !

I had before a Panasonic ER 121 which I used for almost 6 years for facial shaving and haircut.

In the last few month either the battery or the blades started to work a bit slower and not as good as it was, well... 6 years is enough...

I decided to purchase a new one but i decided to go only for Panasonic as far as i know that the next machine should last me again 6 years or so.

Because of that I wouldn't mind to invest a little more and purchase the best machine from Panasonic.

I assumed that ER1611 is the best because of the price :-)

The only thing which was bothering me is the fact tat this machine gan shave at 0.8mm the lower and the previous one was 0.5mm and I didn't know if it'll be good for facial shaving.

The answer : it is !!

It's an amazing device, very fast and quiet and great for facial shaving.

The trimmer it's self is 5 stars. I am balding and this takes care of those small hairs that other trimmers tend to miss. I really like the attachments as they clip on instead of slide on which means no risk of sliding off if like me you go back and forth to shave your head at a very close crop.The blades are very good, you can just tell when you turn it on.Delivery came but took a while it was my own fault for not checking the delivery times. Note these were shipped all the way from Israel hence the time it takes. All came well packed and within listed timeframe though.Also to note if you are a home user this only comes with a 2 pin plug. Fine if you have shaver ports in your bathroom, you'll need a UK adaptor if you don't.I have owned a number of cordless trimmers to far. All seem to have developed battery faults over time. I have had these a month no issues yet.
