If you want the best shave from the best razor then you need to replace the foil and blades every year. The Panasonic is a superb electric razor. It works wet or dry. I am an electric shaver for over 30 years. It started with the present of a German razor which was replaced every 5 years or so. I bought the Panasonic last year... wow! It is a fabulous razor.

...the price for Panasonic spares is, as always, a little high. Hence the 4 stars.As usual, I received my order very quickly & safely packaged. This is clearly an original item & not a copy.As a result it gives your razor a new lease of life & will last for at least a year. Then it'll be time to lash out another £40 or so.Wet shaving may be quite a bit cheaper but nowhere near as effective, pleasant & convenient as Panasonic's ES-LV81 Wet & Dry model.

Very good but expensive, 31 Jan. 2014

I change my foil and blade every 9 months or so. The difference is immediate and apparent - a faster, smoother shave. I would give the product 5 stars if it wasn't so expensive.
