I bought this product to tackle my upper lip hair. I have fair skin with black hair, and although the hair on my upper lip is relatively fine, there is a carpet of it. I was scared that treatments such as waxing/shaving/bleaching etc would add to the problem and make the hair thicker (with the added pain of in-growing hairs). I also considered laser, however the price and high risks of permanent skin damage and regrowth put me off. I also tried natural remedies such as lemon and milk to naturally lighten the hair as I am opposed to bleach, due to the sensitivity of my skin. However, this did not work and actually irritated my skin so I had to stop. I have also tried using make up to cover this carpet of fur I was blessed with, but this made the problem all the worse.

The Parissa Strip-Free Hot Wax was just a god send. I'm a 21 year old young woman with very fair pale complexion with olive undertones & unfortunately my Dad's Asian hirsute genes which gives me a horrendous thick, extremely obvious dark verging on almost coarse girl stashe/upper lip hairs & creepy Simpsons baby-esque monobrow so I've been on a mission trying to control it all.

In the past I'd tried bleaching (Joleen Sensitive version) but against my skin the newly bleached hairs just looked orange & even more obvious as well as still feeling rough to the touch. i have tried many waxs and this is the best for stubborn coarse hairs. it's relatively painless and if you follow the instructions properly, it is not at all messy. Excellent product. i would recommend it
