This is a nicely-weighted razor with a longish handle with a good grip. In use, I found it gave a close, comfortable shave; but it is slightly more 'aggressive' than the likes of a Muhle 89R, so maybe be a bit circumspect as to which blade you use in it (something like Derby Extra, Red Personna or Astra Super Platinum would be a good starting point). Changing blades with this razor is a breeze, and, being a TTO, there is no real need to get your fingers near the blade except when you do want to change it..
Quality-wise, well, for the price it's pretty good; but if you're someone who use different razors in rotation you may well notice a slight difference in build quality. But it is only slight. Still, I would recommend the Parker 96R nonetheless.
