Soaps:
Simply place your soap in the dish, add water either to your brush or directly to the soap and lather up with a badger shaving brush until you get the rich consistency you need.

Creams:
Drop an amount approximately equal to a small almond into the bowl, add a few drops of water and lather up with a badger shaving brush until you get the rich consistency you need.
