This is the best item I ever bought from Amazon and i bought quite a number of things here.I have very hard and thick nails and it has been a herculean task cutting them till i chanced on this on Amazon and ordered it. It cuts my nails like hot knife through butter( i know this is a cliche) but this is the only way i can describe it.Wonderful product at affordable cost.

Nail clippers, 11 Dec. 2012
I am elderly and my hands are losing strength, I needed something to cut my toenails. The hand grips are not as long as they appear in the photograph but seem to do the job well enough. Time will tell.27th June 2013.I have to be fair to people who might read this review and time has shown that these clippers fall short of what I needed to cut toenails. OK generally but hard work on big toe nails. The clippers tend to slide off the nail which makes difficulty enough but even with two hands I struggle to make them cut.I have now ordered a pair of cantilever clippers, more expensive but hopefully will do the job.Some confusion in other reviewers as to whether they are German made but who cares. Supplied by Amazon anyway.
