Good gift idea, nicely priced, 31 July 2016

Ok, so I’m a bloke, and Rose & Co. of Howarth (which is where Patisserie De Bain started) looks like one of those shops my partner would want to go into but I’d make some sort of excuse to wait outside.

Anyway, as soon as she saw this she was ‘get THAT one!’.

Bath bombs are allowed to look like small cakes apparently; you leave them in a room for the scent and to look pretty and only actually use them when that scent has faded. These are particularly good because unlike Lush bath bombs they don’t look like a rounders ball that someone left behind.

You live and learn.

Anyway, the Patisserie bath bombs don’t look nor act like normal bath bombs; they bubble slowly rather than fizz. They are also moisturising rather than drying, as they release some oils into the water that your skin picks up, which my partner liked a lot. They don’t colour the water much except for a hint of colour that comes from...

I’ve previously tried the

and I wasn’t very impressed, but this Cherries and Berries set is a little nicer - they look more professionally made, and a little better quality.

These little bath melts come in a beautifully designed box, very attractive so they make a nice little gift - however the price is a little too much for what they are, bath melts aren’t expensive to make and these are a little basic. The melts are handmade but lack any uniqueness so look a little mass-made, all three look the same except for different colored wire floral arrangements in different colors on the top. These melts are bath bombs but with shea butter and with a fruity scent, it’s hard to differentiate between the three different scents when they’re in the box and to me they’re not...

They smell good and look really nice. The packing does make them look a little cheap though.
