I have a number of Patisserie de Bain treats and from their delicious-smelling fragrances, I often feel they smell more like confectionary than toiletries. This ‘Lemon Bon-Bon’ is a new addition to my collection.

The 50ml tube stands 11cm tall including its 2cm deep cap and on opening, the crisp, bright scent of fresh tangy lemons is released – a fragrance I keep sniffing even straight from the tube resembling a hand cream junkie!

The creamy light yellow hand cream is smooth and quite rich with only a dab needed to keep hands feeling moisturised and soft. If your hands are excessively dry, chapped or cracked then a stronger hand cream will be required: I would consider this to be a hand cream for maintenance of soft hands rather than treating excessively dry skin. The fragrance reduces a little once on the skin but this still doesn’t stop me repeatedly sniffing my hands to continue enjoying their scent for several hours following application.
