The best parma violet fragrance ever!, 27 July 2015

Fantastic smell - my favourite brand to date. I love the smell of parma violets and am always trying new products with this scent. This is my favourite to date and smells exactly like them and has a lovely lingering scent. Will definitely be buying more.

This handcream is so, so lovely. The smell is of parma violets, which is heavenly. The handcream is quite light so soaks into your skin really easily. You are not left with an oily residue like some handcreams, just soft skin almost immediately. It seems fine on the excema that I have on one hand so should be fine for sensitive skin.Highly recommended!

Like so many other products I've used from the aptly-named 'Patisserie de Bain', this violet handcream smells absolutely delicious.

The glass bottle is undeniably tiny at 4.5cm tall x 3.5cm diameter (including 1cm for the screw-top lid) but it smells so delicious - just like the parma violet sweets I used to enjoy in my childhood and I actually felt hungry with this pot of handcream on my desk.

As for the handcream, it is a very rich, smooth and high quality cream with a glycerin base which ensures it smoothes into the skin with no greasiness or stickiness. It is also surprisingly economical and only the smallest fingertip-sized dab is needed to moisturise the hands which then smell so delicious. However, once on my hands, I felt the violet scent seemed to develop undernote hints of lavender.

I think anyone who also enjoyed parma violet sweets is going to feel the same and love this fragrance and for anyone unable to resist the urge to taste it, to...
