Deliciously scented hand cream which smells good enough to eat!, 17 Oct. 2016

I have a number of Patisserie de Bain treats and from their delicious-smelling fragrances, I often feel they smell more like confectionery than toiletries. This ‘Sugared Violets’ hand cream is the latest addition to my collection and instantly takes me back to my childhood and memories of the Parma Violet sweets we all used to tuck into and use as breath-fresheners. I still enjoy Parma Violets to this day so I knew I was going to love this hand cream too..

The hand cream smells exactly the same – confirmed by the two tubes of sugar-based Parma Violets I have at my side. It smells sweet, crisp and fresh and, loving Violet scents as much as I do, I find I keep sniffing the hand cream from the tube. Once on the hands, the violet fragrance remains for several hours and I can’t resist sniffing my hands when nobody is looking to feast on the scent.
