I have only been using this for approx 1 week now, and I think 3/5 is a fair score. Compared to the major brands like Braun, Remington, Panasonic (all of which I have owned previously) it is incredibly light (maybe thats why they call it LITE? This might sound like a plus point, but its not. It just feels like a toy shaver! I think this is justified by the price. OK it does shave you, but if you have any more than one days growth it does struggle to cut, especially if you press it harder against your skin. In this respect it doesn't compare favourably at all with the big brands. The motor sounds like it is struggling and even slowing down. I would guess if you were the kind of fella with tough bristles, I'd give it a miss. But on the plus side, it was £13 delivered, and comes with a spare foil and a spare cutter, which would normally cost £20 if you were buying a big brand. This is the reason I decided to give it a go, as my Braun needed new foil/cutter and I got this for £13 compared...

This shaver does the job quite nicely and is ergonomically well designed. I mean a battery rechargeable item for under £15, what's not to like?The trimmer which I use to catch single stubborn facial hair, is better at removing hairs than the shaver, but as I said all in all agreat product at a great price.

You Cannot Go Wrong at this Prce., 18 Sept. 2015

This shaver gives the closest and quickest shave I have ever had from an electric shaver.I have previously used a Braun foil shaver and then latterly a Remington Rotary. The Remington initally gave a decent close shave, but within a month or two, it was noticable that the sharpness was deteriorating and after 6months required new blades.Remington state that the blades should last two years before repacement, but it did not last that long. The only good thing about the Remington was that it did pick up longer hairs around the kneck.The Paul Anthony shaver is not particularly robust, but is more than adequate and at a very low price, a new replacement foil and baldes are included.
