Not as I remembered, 27 Mar. 2014

I bought this perfume in the mid-1990s and was pleased to see it available now - I thought it was obsolete. It was a great price on Amazon and arrived quickly. However, I'm a bit disappointed as it's definitely not the same smell, although it is similar. The La Perla I remember was certainly lighter and more "powdery". I wonder if the bottle has been subjected to heat or not stored properly .. or just old stock? It has that slight "twang" or perfume that's past its best - fortunately, when it's been on a while, that fades. Ah well, it's still nice enough and at the bargain price I paid, worth keeping for everyday use. If I'd paid £30+ I would have complained. When the bottle is empty, if I see it again here at a reasonable price, I may re-purchase to see if it was just a bad bottle this time.

A great fragrance, I have used this for many years and this one is the exactly the same. It's a shame I can't find it in an EDP they all seem to be slightly different from the original. Very good value too
