Yes, the quality of the box is what started worrying me as soon as I opened the package. I'm 20, male. This box isn't going to last very long. But keep in mind the price and it's fine for a beginner like myself. I'll be using these tools for many tasks no doubt. Clippers are light and cut good.Cuticle cutters can be a bit annoying.the thingy inside is very fidgety...yeah u know the thingy.There's a very flimsy rubber tubing around the edges that keeps falling out.. The leather inside is extremly delicate.All in all good tools, but nowhere near as robust case as would want. it can break any moment.

Poor quality, 15 Sept. 2013
At first when I saw this item here I rapidly purchased them not realising that they will be travelling from beyond. When I received them yesterday and looked at the quality of nail cutter and the rest of the set, the quality of the set comes from terrible material. I was trying to cut my nail and cuticle and it doesn't cut properly but hey it's cheap so you get what you paid for! cheap quality! I would not recommend this to anyone who would like a proper nail cutter kit/set.

Good ! ..but there are cheaper alternatives., 5 Jun. 2012
I chose this partly because the set comes in a (unisex) brown alligator-skin-style case and I am a guy - I didn't want to be carrying around a pink purse around with me everywhere!All pieces function well except the scissors, which are a little blunt for my liking. The scissors appear to be cut from brushed stainless steel and I think if they were polished stainless steel then they would cut better / more smoothly. But they can be easily replaced, whereas I was having trouble finding some of the other pieces (e.g.) cuticle trimmers in local pharmacies, and so it was worthwhile purchasing a full set as this now caters for all my nailcare needs.One thing to note however is that the seller, at the time I purchased, was selling a very very similar item (a 10 piece set - so only 2 items less) at £4 cheaper. In hindsight, that probably would've have been sufficient too but I paid the extra for the more extensive kit.
