My old Solingen cuticle nippers got chipped as I accidentally dropped them on the floor so I wanted to replace them with exactly the same model. The first pair I have received from Amazon didn't have their blades aligned straight. I had them exchanged twice and both replacement pliers had flaws on them. I am not sure whether this was just my bad luck or Amazon stock seconds as Pfeilring (Solingen) products are normally of a good quality.
