Expensive...Efficent Though at Cleaning My Shaver Heads, 21 Sept. 2013

Around a year ago, I decided to purchase the Philips Jet Clean system, and this is the solution I have been suibng ever since. Being honest, it was an impulsive buy, albeit it has proved useful. I think I paid around £80 at that time, you can now pick one up from £50. The benefit of the Jet Clean System is that the device automatically cleans and "freshens" your shaver heads. Saves you having to take the shaver apart, and using the brush or otherwise, clean the heads. The system automatically does this for you - whilst at the same time, charging the shaver. The whole process takes 2-3 hrs.

Anyway, this is the solution you use. One pack will last me around 6 months as I use a half bottle each month. You can keep the same solution for a month or so, then you will need to discard and refill. I have to say it does a good job. Every time I have used the system, the shaver has been cleaned immaculately and it does smell nice. The only negative feedback I can...

Best price ever - Incredible value, 27 Nov. 2014

When I purchased a high end philishave razor, I was fully aware that it required this consumable and I took the time to look at the reviews and investigate the prices. A bit like purchasing an inkjet printer, everyone marvels at the low cost of the product and then moans (like I have in a separate review) about the cost of the ink.

I normally purchase this item from Amazon at £6.00 for a single bottle as it offers me the lowest price and this is far lower in cost than my local Boots; they appear to sell it at a higher price than a similar quantity of fine cognac might cost. As I see it, as an item that I will use for the length of the life of the razor, I took advantage of the "subscribe and save" deal offered by Amazon, where in exchange for a regular order, I receive a discount off the advertised price: this service is easy to amend or halt, but ensures that I have always got a stock to use. multi pack is ideal, 21 Feb. 2014

I clean my shaver with this through the shaver auto clean system about once every fortnight. Doesn't evaporate very fast at all so I get about 2 months (maybe more) use out of each bottle. Still a bit pricey (current price £15 per triple pack) but I suppose keeping the shaver in good condition will prolong it's life and save money in the long run.
