This is a fairly small (roughly 6 inches from top to bottom) electric razor that sits nicely in your hand thanks to its slightly curvy shape, making comfortable to hold while you shave.
It has a shaving head which measures 2 inches across and consists of a cutting comb followed by a strip of aloe vera and finishing with not 1 but 2 shaving foils to make sure that any pesky hair that has managed to evade the first 2 cutting devices is well and truly removed!
The head is fairly flexible moving up and down as it goes across your skin and helping to cover all areas, even the dip in the back of your knee and bony ankles where the hair normally manages to hide.
As for the hair removing qualities, well I found them really rather good, electric shavers certainly seem to have come a long way since my last one ( around 7-8 years ago) and this has done a much better job than I remember my last doing. I achieved a completely smooth hair free …body ( ahem) comfortably ,with...

As an inexperienced user of electric shavers, I wonder if I had unrealistically high hopes for this...
On the plus side, it's a nice, compact looking shaver that is quite ergonomical, and the head moves up and down to accommodate the curves of the legs. Battery life is good, and with the cleanable head this shaver could soon pay its way by saving you the cost of disposable razors. It's also great how it can be used wet or dry - ideal for those quick shower shaves when time is of the essence.
Not so good: there's no visible indicator that the shaver is fully charged; a light appears when it's charging but this stays on as it is even when it's fully charged. You just have to remember that it shouldn't be charged for more than 14 hours.
It might be that my hairs are tougher than other reviewers, I just don't know!... But regardless of if I used this wet or dry, and with several attempts over the same patch of skin, I couldn't get anywhere near a smooth...

Mrs D writes: this is a good shaver, which does everything well. Every now and then I test a new product that is clearly better than what went before. This isn't one of those - it is just good at what it does, and does it without any fuss or faff. At the current price of £30.00 it represents fair value.
The 3-in-1 refers to: a pivoting head; independent floating foils; and the aloe vera strip to help sensitive skin. The twin foil floating/pivoting head is very effective and follows your skin beautifully. The shaving is pretty good for an electric - not as close as a disposable razor, but very nearly and it can be used wet or dry (I do wet for a 'proper' shave and dry for a quick 'polish' before a night out). The aloe vera strip is, well, not nothing. It definitely makes a difference, but only a small one. My skin doesn't suffer from shaving sensitivity anyway, so I am not really in a position to judge its effectiveness.
Also in the box: a protective cap...
