I'm disappointed. Low power shaver with no trimmer and poorer quality than previous Philips shavers., 25 Nov. 2015
I'm not sure about this. I bought this shaver as a replacement for my old Philips which is starting to play up after 7 years fault-free service. Although this shaver is the same size and almost the same design as my old one it's noticeably lighter in weight and not as powerful. The motor is quite obviously smaller. Secondly, this shaver doesn't have a side trimmer which I didn't realise.I'm disappointed as I've bought Philips shavers for 40 years and they've always been a reliable, high quality brand. I'll stick with this shaver and see how it goes but I wouldn't have bought it if I'd inspected it first. It's the cheapest looking Philips shaver I've ever seen. The first few shaves have been fine but I'm not confident about how long it'll last. I suspect I'll be looking around for a more expensive replacement and another brand soon. I hope not. Either way, I can't recommend this shaver as it's not good in my opinion.
