Clips are very strong and hold my daughters hair very well. Bands are a good size too and neither appear to do any damage to the hair which is great (no snagging or knotting on the hair). Will update with longevity as these were only received this week. So far, so good though. Note, they are brown/burgandy so a bit darker than expected, but do go well with the school colours.
