These tweezers come in a tamper proof re-sealable plastic bag. They have a matt black coating which feels comfortable in the hand and looks attractive. I like the fact that they are made of stainless steel, since this will not rust if it gets wet. They are robust and look like they will last well, but they do come with a lifetime warranty if you have any problems with them. Like many products these days, they are made in China (this is clearly indicated on the back of the bag).
I thought this product was okay, but it didn’t really perform any better than the cheaper tweezers I bought from my local pharmacy. It struggled with short and fine hairs, and I got quite frustrated trying to remove these. All of the other reviews are 5 stars so there are obviously a lot of happy customers, but I just wasn’t hugely impressed by them. I always keep a pair of tweezers handy, wherever I am as they come in so handy beyond just plucking eyebrows, although these slanted tip ones are also great for eyebrows. They are very precise and can grip on to the smallest of hairs and remove with a small pull. I feel safer with a slanted tip as I am less likely to cause damage. I find people often ask me for tweezers for splinter removal or to remove a small piece of paper that has torn off in the printer at work! They ask me because they know I'll come up with the goods!
The tweezers are nice and compact and don't take up much room or weigh very much so I tend to keep mine in a case with my nail file, nail oil, hand cream and a small pair of scissors. All you need to get you through the day. I was keen to try these tweezers, as I'd read some of the reviews. I epilate my legs so find I get some ingrown hairs, so needed some really precise and good quality tweezers to remove these before they became unsightly as they continued to grow inwards. I put them to the test and they were such great quality with slanted tips it was easy to locate the hair, grip it and remove without any damage to the skin.
I'm going to have to buy another pair of these though, because my teenage daughter has nabbed them, and is experimenting with brow shaping. I don't mind because I'd rather she did this with a really good pair of tweezers rather than using a less...
