I have been using bareMinerals Origional in Fairly Light for 3 years and truly love the product. I usually buy it in Debenhams but for a change decided to buy it off amazon because it was a lot cheaper. Received it today and noticed straight away the colouring inside the container was deeper than usual. I opened it up and rubbed some on to the back of my hand, I found the texture to be courser and there was no luminosity/shine from the powder. Later that evening, I decided to try some on my face to see if it was any different but still not convinced. This is without a doubt, not BareMinerals.

Thought that selling as "Bare Escentuals bareMinerals" it would have to be the genuine product but have been very doubtful since I started using this pot. It's coverage is nowhere near as good as my original pot (from a counter). Yesterday I took it to the bareMinerals counter at House of Frazer and they showed me the difference between this and the geniune product. I could instantly see the difference in the way the powder behaves - this one is very talcy and just disappears into the skin which shouldn't be the case. The packaging is slightly different too. The colour was pretty close but that's the only thing that was right. Really disappointed.

I bought this item several months ago as I had some extra money in the form of cashback from purchases (registers as an Amazon voucher) and wanted to stock up on my favourite make up. I was horrified to discover upon opening it this week that THIS IS NOT THE GENUINE PRODUCT! It is clearly counterfeit, lacking the superior consistency of the genuine product, this is just a cheap talc based powder NOT the foundation that is produced by bareMinerals. I had to immediately order the product from a reputable seller. I am shocked that you would not only advertise this product as the real thing but also that you would sell it at the high cost of the genuine product.
