nothing like golden in colour, 23 July 2014

Most importantly, these are absolutely NOT golden, they are bronze. I thought I'd been sent the wrong colour, but the sticker on the box said golden. So they show A LOT in my hair. They actually look dark brown by comparison to blonde hair.I wasn't clear about this, but you get 2 of them - I bought 2 boxes (due to not knowing)...I have now managed to get a bun to stay up with just 2 - at first I needed 3, so I guess my technique has improved. I do have difficult hair though, as it's thick, fine (slippery) and has layers (which I cannot get to stay in tidily).So I give 3 stars as they do work better than ordinary grips, but I think it would be difficult to get them not to show, and the colour nowhere near blends in to blonde hair.

I have very very very straight hair and nothing worked before. I'm still getting used to it but I can use 2 of these and 1 normal hair grip and the trick is done. Really works!

Surprisingly good quality for the price and they work a treat for my thick, curly hair. Can't see any difference between these and the more expensive branded versions.
