Ideal for beginners., 12 April 2016

As a stay at home carer for my family one of my duties is hair cuts.

My wife's hair grows fast and I'm very fortunate to be allowed to do pretty much anything I want to practice my skills.

She has one of those perfect head shapes that suits all styles and she can even rock a completely bald head better than anyone I know. As such she's not afraid of experiments as if they go wrong, we just shave it all off and start again.

I haven't had any training in hairdressing whatsoever, it's all been trial and error and although no expert, I'm pretty good at bringing to life my ideas and expectations.

These bands were an experiment to see if they could help simplify something I could only do with time and patience.

My first problem was they came with no instructions. Not that should matter, I'm a man, we don't read them anyway 😂

I was confused by the spirit level bubbles as I was unsure how they helped you get anything...

Lots of lovely layers... saves a fortune in hairdressing fees., 4 April 2016

I have wanted to give these clips a go for a while now after seeing reviews of the ones that look very similar to these called CreaClips which do the same thing as these but for a higher price tag. The Longer white clip is used for the main hair whist the smaller one can be used to make sure you get your fringe straight.

I first made sure my hair was nice and clean then brushed it through to make sure there was no knots in it then put my head upside down and brushed all my hair forward, then i got the clip and clipped all my hair into it (i did it with the clip like a sulking smile rather than happy smile way round) then I slid the clip down my hair till i got to how much I wanted to remove made sure the spirit level bubble was in the middle to ensure the clip was straight that using my scissors i cut at a sort of 45 degree angle all along the bottom of the clip. This had already tidied up my ends and given me some nice layers but I wanted a few more layers in my hair so i...

always have straight hair, 3 April 2016

I received packaged with prompt delivery after ordering. I opened the box to find

-1x small dark blue straight size for bangs

-1x large curved beige size for long hair and layering

I purchased these because I been wanting something done with my hair I done go to hair dressers because I cant sit in there chairs for to long or cant have my hair washed in there basin's so I usually get my husband to cut my hair but there always seems to be strands left hanging and its very hard for him to get the cut straight I know he does the best he can so I seen these and thought I would give them ago now I wish I got these years ago hair looks fabulous and straight just need to colour it now and all perfect I love the idea of a spirit level bubble on it so you know the cut going to be straight. its so easy to use just clip your hair in it and cut.
