This Professional LCD Display Automatic Hair Curling Tong effortlessly creats long-lasting curls. Hair can be automatically drawn into the ceramic curl chamber and make your hair beautiful, free-flowing curls.
Instruction for Use (Please read it carefully before you start to use)
1- Ensure hair is dry and combed through.
2- Plug the styler into a standard electrical outlet.
3- Switch on the styler by pressing and holding the O/F button for 2-3 seconds, then choose the Temperature, Time and Curl Direction for your hair type. When the LCD light stops flashing, it means it's ready to curl.
4- ENSURE THE OPENING OF THE CURL CHAMERB IS ALWAYS FACING TOWARD YOUR HEAD, then place 1/2 in. - 1 in. wide(no more than 3 cm) section of your hair into the CENTER of the Curl Chamber (which means no more other section of the hair exposed out of the chamber, otherwise it is easily to be tangled), and close the handle softly, the hair will be automatically drawn into the curl chamber and starts to work.
5- After the hair is drawn in the curler makes spaced apart short, high pitched "beep" while the hair is being curled. After you hear a series of four QUICK "beep-beep-beep-beep" prompt, that's the time to loosen the handle. Be sure to listen to these, the timing is perfect. ( NOTE: Always release the handles fully first to let the curl free; if you pull away before you open the handles, the curl will be straightened out. )

Brought these curlers with much enthusiasm as my mom owns a pair of the Babyliss Curl Secret curlers which work a treat. These curlers arrived in a nice box and the colour of the curlers is to die for. These do take a long time to heat up compared to straighteners, but when they do heat up, they go right up to 230c. I like the LED display on the top of the curlers. However, these do not curl as well as the Babyliss ones, the curl is not as tight and they do not hold as well (I have naturally wavy hair that tends to hold a curl well), this was using the curlers on 230c and 12s timer. The timer beeps don't seem uniformed, sometimes they beep quicker than previously and sometimes slower. The instruction booklet is helpful, although quite a few words are mispelt ("matural" instead of natural is one example).
If I had the option of this curler or the Babyliss one, I'd pick the Babyliss, however, you get what you pay for and these would do for a night out or special...

These came in a black box with a magnetic closing flap lid which looks really expensive and a great gift idea. The colour of these hair curlers are 'flash purple' and they look so amazing. Really looks nice on your dressing table. I was really impressed. It comes with two hair grips and a special cleaning tool.
The digital display lights up with the temp for the curl. Depending on whether your hair is fine or coarse I would say for fine hair the lower setting would be better and at a lower temp and coarser hair a higher temp and longer time.
I always use a heat protection spray with my hair before straightening and curling. Which I would recommend and use a spray of hairspray after you have curled. Some curling rods, rollers, and curlers do not keep a curl in you hair for long, but the curls lasted the evening.
I was quite impressed how they worked and you must always make sure you have them the right way round or possibly you could end up tangling your hair in...
