Great purchase. Has not stained.To avoid staining (I read alot of complaints when looking to purchase), spray the head with hairspray prior to use and allow to dry.To remove, I use handsoap/soap and work into the paint and then rinse off with water. I remove any remaining marks with Acetone nail remover'polish remover. I have had this head for months now and it is stain free!

So hard to clean, 12 April 2014
Can't seem to get the facepaint off. Tried spraying with hairspray first as recommended on some websites, but this just makes the paint slide when trying to paint. Only thing I have found that cleans is nail varnish remover. However this seems to be damaging the plastic as there are now small holes in it. Have given up and now just sits hidden away as it scares the kids!
