Really very good once I had worked out the best way to use these. Firstly DON'T pre-mix in a cup like a block soap.The best way to use these is to take your badger brush and flush under warm/hot water. Then using your finger make a hole in the centre of the brush hair. Pop a splurge of shaving cream about the size of a marble into the hole and then apply DIRECTLY to the face and lather it up on the face. It soon creates a creamy smooth lather that you can really work into the bristles and skin. You can then set the brush aside and make a first pass with your razor and if you are going for extra close with a second pass then the brush will comfortably supply a second mask of lather without additional soap.These creams smell great and work really well

I love all proraso products. I shave with a double edge safety razor and they provide a really clean shave and leave my skin smooth. They're not gunky like some well known high street brands. My skin is quite sensitive after shaving but these products help. I particularly recommend the after shave balm in the white range to follow these up.Other than small I can't say I notice much of a difference in performance between the three colours here, but they all do a great job. Smell wise I prefer the red (sandal wood) and green (mint).
