So very worth it, 29 Oct. 2012

I'm new to the world of "real" shaving. After stumbling onto an article on the new popularity in the use of safety or double edge razors. I figured that after years of having problems with shaving and razor rash I figured I would loose nothing by giving it a go.

After doing some research and finding the technique videos by mantic59 I decided to dip my toe in, so to speak. I didn't want to spend a lot on a proper set up so I got a cheap razor and blades from Boots with a Parmolive shave stick. Even this simple set up that cost me about 6 pounds gave me a good shave so I took the plunge and ordered some proper kit.

This was the first item that turned up and I thought I'd give it a try, but without the pre treatment, good razor, and some quality blades I wasn't expecting much of an improvement.

Does exactly what it says on the tin, 11 Aug. 2013
I have recently started shaving with a shavette and after a few attempts with a different cream I was still coming away looking like a extra from Sweeney Todd. I got some advice from a friend and read around and decided I needed a better cream. This is the first I've tried and its amazing the razor moves far easier over my face resulting in less cuts ( my technique is still a work in progress ). It has a subtle and pleasant smell and it comes in a bowl therefore no need to buy an expensive one. I applied liberally with a brush and like I said it works fine, I will definitely buy this again and will be buying more proraso products.
