The Purest Naturals Detangling Hair Brush is excellent. Firstly I received Two brushes in the nice presentation box they arrived in which is an added bonus and there was a Black Brush and a Blue Brush both with Purest Naturals printed on each brush adding style.
When I first took out the brushes and held one I thought that it felt really strange as I am used to a long handled brush where as these have a short curled handle but to my surprise it was extremely comfortable and fitted perfectly into the palm of my hand and was very light in weight.
The bristles on the brushes are quite firm but soft on your hair. I have long, straight hair. I like to wear it down, so I'm forever giving my hair a quick brush to get rid of the knots. As my hair has grown, I've noticed more and more that (particularly when it's wet) it's getting harder and harder to keep it knot free. When my hair is wet, it can even be painful to brush out the knots - even though I am particular about conditioning it. I was hoping my new brushes would be gentle on my hair, and they are! I think it also saves me precious minutes during my morning routine - which is crucial when I'm on my way to work!
I do find the brushes easy to hold and manoeuvre through my hair, and surprisingly to me, even though the bristles are hard, they don't scratch my scalp. I have fine hair, and the bristles aren't the longest, so I'm not sure how someone with very thick and curly hair would cope with it - But for me, they detangle effortlessly, and helps prevent split ends, so I'm a very happy customer! This brush set comes in an attractive box which definitely makes the item look more expensive and gives the impression of an item anybody would love to receive as a gift!.
The two brushes inside are in separate plastic pouches.
The brushes have a lovely feel to them. They are comfortable to hold and easy to work with.
I received a set of a black and blue brush. The blue however, isn't as dark a shade as shown on the box. It is a lovely aqua shade of blue. I have attached photos of these after I used them on my own and my daughters hair. My hair is straight and her hair is curly/ wavy. These glided through my hair very easily without sticking. These also went through her hair brilliantly. Generally, brushing her hair can hurt as her hair is thick and can get quite tatty. She did not complain at all and said this brush was really good! That in itself is a testimony as to how good the brush is.
