Don't know how this works at all...my daughter has long thick hair and this just unrolls itself the minute it's been put in. Rubbish!

i need help with these, cannot put them in on your own as very fiddly as they will constantly roll into the shape you see in the picture, or am i doing it wrong? Update...i was doing it wrong actually really good and holds the hair firmly in place.
