I've been using this product as my regular chap stick since September and have not had a cold sore in all that time. Considering I was getting at least one cold sore a month before this I think this product is amazing. It may be a little more expensive than a normal chap stick but as I no longer need to buy expensive cold sore cream its well worth it.

Prevention is better than cure, 3 May 2014

Everyone will have different "triggers" for their cold sores. For me its fatigue/stress mostly from work. So when I feel like my energy levels are low I use this lip balm in addition to the lysine tablets and am glad to say I haven't had an outbreak in over a year. It has lasted me a year and just though i'd write this review as I am going to buy another one.

The item arrived faster than I expected. I get cold sores and needed a good Chapstick. I like that this Chapstick has SPF and the lysine helps to prevent future breakouts.
