Wipe over each nail with a single stroke of the pad, then work back over the nails with a firm rubbing action on each , to remove nail varnish. This product is different from a traditional nail varnish remover as it does not use acetone-like, fuming, quick-evaporating liquid to remove the varnish - instead it uses thin but strong cotton pads drenched in a lightly oily formula.

I am very positive to this product as I am very sensitive to smells and especially the fumes from regular varnish removers or acetone. The trick is to dab each fingernail first (to let the oil used to remove the varnish sink in) before scrubbing each nail with the pad. That allows the oily chemicals to loosen up the varnish.

I think the oil is superior to most varnish removers I've tried in terms of economy - I get all the varnish off using just one pad*. Also, I'm convinced it's been better for my nails' health in the long run as it's not at all astringent. True, you may need to wash your hands after, but I find the oiliness easy to rinse away.

I'm aware of the other 2-star review that didn't like this product, but like...

I will always prefer a bottle of remover and some cotton wool balls but these are great in an emergency and remove Polish quickly. It leaves a funny oily feel which I have to wash off afterwards

I found the container rather difficult to open but once I did so the pads are very satisfactory.They are a good size and are effective in use
