Created with a base of cocoa seed butter and rosa damascena flower water, this pampering cleanser purifies and decongests skin whilst removing all traces of make-up. Perfect for all skin types, the Hot Cloth Cleanser leaves skin looking refreshed and radiant without tightness.
Vitamin P from Rosa Centifolia decongests the skin, rosa damascene from Damask rose petals relieves and soothes the skin, and triglycerides from cocoa seed butter strengthens the skin's barrier function.
Gently massage onto dry skin to loosen dirt, make-up and dead skin cells. Rinse the included cloth in warm water and place over your face to open pores, before using it to lightly polish off the cleanser. Finish by rinsing your face with cool water to close pores.

This was a reasonably good hot cloth cleanser from REN, but there are too many downsides to it for me to consider repurchasing:
1. The scent of this is way too florally for me - it's an overpowering scent of rose, which actually put me off reaching for it when it came time to do my evening skincare routine.
2. The bottle this comes in is useless! The pump is so weak it really struggles to dispense any product at all and the bottom of the bottle is sealed, so you can't take it off in order to reach the mechanism inside and push it up to help it along the way. Anyone suffering with arthritis/weak hands would struggle to use this - it literally took all my strength to get anything out!
3. I found I had to have my water REALLY hot in order to remove this completely from my face. If the water was warm or tepid, this stuff stuck around and ended up leaving my face feeling greasy and unwashed. And as anyone with sensitive skin will tell you, it doesn't like...

I really like this hot cloth cleanser which leaves my skin feeling gorgeously soft. It has quite a strong rose perfume, which normally I would dislike but it's not a cloying, old lady kind of rose. The pump dispenser is a little variable in quantity but usually gives the right amount for one use. Every now and then I find that it just doesn't pump and I think it must be finished (you can't actually see the level that's in there) but then it starts working again. I've been using it for three months now and it's still going strong.
If you're wondering what a "hot cloth" cleanser is, essentially it's a creamy cleanser which you massage into your face (I dampen my skin slightly beforehand which may not be necessary but which means that it lathers more) and then you rest a hot and wet muslin cloth to open your pores before wiping it off. The muslin apparently has a mild exfoliating benefit.
I am somewhat ambivalent about these instructions as I have...
