Brilliant Shave Oil for all wet shaving, 14 Jun. 2015

I have started to use Shaving Oil as part of my daily ablutions and was tired of using cheap products based on mineral oil (which can cause spots).

I got the Ren oil and haven't looked back. My ritual is to shave when I am done showering. I keep my face wet, squirt a couple of pumps of this stuff into my hand and work it into the grain of my stubble. It really does help to soften and lift bristles. I then use my normal shaving soap/creme on top and use a badger hair brush to work the soap in.

Now, I use a double-edge safety razor so there are no built-in lubricant strips to help ease the passage of razor across skin. However, the combination of shaving oil and lathered up creme makes shaving a brilliant experience.

This product really does work and you need so little of it per shave that it lasts an age. Also, there is a nice scent to this, it smells natural and almost citrusy. Its really nice but not overpowering.

Absolutely fantastic stuff. Gives a great shave without clogging up your razor. I've been through a lot of different products recently but most leave you spending huge amounts of time and effort getting stubble out from between the blades. Not so with this. And it noticeably reduces the amount of tugging. Simply glides through your stubble even a week's worth.
