330 True Beige: Super feeling and fantastic coverage !, 3 Jan. 2015

First try of this today on my 50 yr old combination skin, and I love it!

I have been using mineral foundation through the summer, but wanted to try something creamier for the winter. I have been struggling with roseacia and thread veins, so I normaly use a ton of yellow and beige concealers under my mineral foundation.

For my first try of this I only put on minimal yellow concealer, just on my cheeks (over rimmel fix n perfect primer) and no other concealers at all. I then applied this with my fingers (as recommended by Youtubers).

The result was quite stunning:

It glides on beautifuly like a satiny cream, and was very easy to blend as it didn't dry too quickly.

It felt extremely light on the skin, with no cakey, clogging, thick feeling. I added a little more over my cheeks and the finish was flawless! I didn't have to use all the extra concealers I would normaly need. The finish is matte but at the same time my face looked radiant.

(Just realised I added this review to specifically IVORY , however this review is about my experience with the foundation in general, using other shades) I researched this foundation thoroughly before buying as it can be very hard to buy a good foundation especially online - no testing first!

After much deliberation, I went ahead and first bought this in shade '370 natural tan', as I have a medium yellow/golden caucasian skintone and 370 is meant to be a shade that has more yellow in it - I've found it hard to find a good foundation with yellow undertones!

It turned out to be rather too dark for me, however I really loved how it applied and felt, and I was impressed with the staying power and coverage, so I dived in again. I passed the Natural Tan onto someone with a more suited skin tone, and then I purchased shade '200 Sand Beige' after watching some video reviews - with what I thought was other humans who matched my skin tone/type.

Fab, just fab. Ive used regular colourstay for years and I see this released in the usa and was gutted I couldnt get my hands on it until I came across it on amazon. It is so quick to blend, full coverage, lasts all day. Perfect!
