Having watched the frustration as my wife made an unholy mess of our children's pencil sharpener, I bought this for her. It is purpose built for make up pencils and does a good job with little mess or fuss. It even has a little poker for clearing the blade included in the design. It was not expensive (£2) and takes up very little space, why would you not have what is obviously the right tool for the job?
