This set of ten brushes came in a great roll up faux leather case. Ideal as a gift.
These are designed particularly to use for makeup application of foundation makeup, blending, highlighting and contouring your face. And the are shaped perfectly for use.
They are nice quality brushes with black wooden handles, synthetic hair in a brilliant blue shade and black tips. They look classy with a travel case to go.
There is a slight smell but I think it is the case, rather than the brushes.
I usually apply a moisturiser and allow to dry and then a foundation primer with a larger rounded brush, allow to dry.
Add concealer to where needed odd spot or blemish, I use a small brush for this.

I was so looking forward to trying these brushes as I am a big fan and user of makeup brushes and have tried many. Although i received these brushes discounted in exchange for my review I can honestly say they are great. They arrived well packaged and come within a brush holder, each brush is also protected with plastic. The brushes themselves look very professional and look more expensive than they are. The blue and black colours make them look attractive too. Although, the case the brushes come in does have a slight plasticy smell but you can just store them elsewhere. The bristles of the brushes are sturdy and feel very soft when applying makeup and do a great job when applying. To clean the brushes I just used lukewarm water and a makeup brush shampoo and rinsed off, leaving them on a towel to dry. Once dry they still felt like new which is great as sometimes brushes can feel odd after washing. I would highly recommend for makeup lovers and beginners at makeup as it is a great set...

This is a great set of inexpensive makeup brushes. They come in a nice little leather (or leather-like) case. There’s a slot in the case for each brush and it rolls up and ties. It doesn’t have a snap to hold it together, but rather two long strips that you can wrap around the case to hold it shut. The brushes do have a pretty strong paint like smell when you first open them. I took them out of the case, washed them, and let them air dry before using them. This helped a great deal with the scent.
I did notice a little bit of shedding or loss of bristles when I washed them. It wasn’t a whole lot, but at least a couple came out of each brush. After cleaning them I haven’t noticed anymore bristles coming out though, so they do seem to be securely attached. They’re also well-shaped. I especially like the larger ones.
