There are two things wrong here: a "professional" product is being sold outside of a salon.
Reasons: the product is expired, diluted, or stolen. Manufacturers sell expired products to non-professionals. this normally occurs with styling products and shampoos.
My guess is it's probably sally's 40vol with cheap hand lotion added to it, marked and bottled as 50 vol peroxide. It is not 50 vol peroxide if amazon consumers are not frying their hair off as 50 vol is so strong that it is not used in most salons. There are no comments about the damage to the hair, so it is probably at most a 30 vol after being diluted by hand lotion, V05 conditioner, etc. One commenter said it didn't work at all. Even expired 50vol would become a 20vol and still work after a few years. diluted or expired. SEE A PROFESSIONAL
