I have now used this for a full month, so feel able to post a more balanced review than most of the other reviewers, who couldn't possibly have used the unit for long enough to make properly informed comment.

Anyone who has been shaving for any length of time will tell you it always takes a few weeks to get accustomed to a new or different mode of shaving; whether that be the change from wet to electric, or electric to wet - your face always takes a little time to get used to the new regime. The literature that comes with this unit suggests you give it four weeks.

This is a very comfortable shaver to use; it feels comfortable in the hand, and on the face, where it does what it should do - cuts the growth. Too many electric shavers simply grip the hairs and attempt to pull them out, rather than cutting as they should. Thankfully, even after only a day or two using this, I found I was getting a smooth, even shave which lasted all day.

Okay but not for me., 29 July 2013

The first thing to say is, historically, I don't do well with shavers. I haven't used one in 20 years since previous ones left me blotchy, stubbly and irritated. Would the Remington AQ7 Wet Touch change my opinion? Sadly no.

The AQ7 is a 3 head, rechargeable device, capable of being used wet or dry. It's light, feels good in the hand with raised ridges that contribute to a secure grip that gives confidence when in use. The initial charge is 24 hours but then a 90 minute charge is sufficient to fully recharge in regular use. The recharge stand feels a little bit light and plasticky as does the blade cover, which I found fiddly and difficult to secure. It also comes with a black cloth carry pouch and small cleaning brush.

Dry shaving just didn't work for me at all. I have a pretty heavy growth. The blades caught in my stubble, didn't glide easily and frankly hurt. Shaving wet with gel was much better, the heads glided smoothly and did a great job on my chin and...

Had this a month great value for money will definitely save you money in long run no more shaving foam or razorz etc but could use foam if needed but i haven't found the need to use shaving foam as its smooth enogh shave without !Its also waterproof! Good battery! Highly recommend this product!i gave this 4 stars becouse can leave 1 or 2 stubborn hairs on face which the shaver wont pick up , so need to use a razor to take off but still doesn't bother me at all well happy with it ! Thanks to my wife for this amazing product at such a resnable price!!!!
