The Remington F7800 is a dual-foil electric shaver with two independant heads, providing a more comprehensive (and hopefully quicker) shaving experience. Although this is not a shaver for use in the shower it is described as an easy-clean model, requiring only a regular rinse under running water to clear the bristles and keep it running at its best. The instructions caution that the shaver should still be fully dry before using it, or indeed charging it.
So what's in the box? The shaver and clip-on head guard, a charging stand, charge cable, cleaning brush and a drawstring bag for travel. You'll need to charge it for 24 hours before you start using it, but after that it'll take about two hours from empty to full. The red LED display will show you the state of charge, so you'll have plenty of notice of when to recharge.
As a seasoned user of electric shavers I have a number of criteria I always look at when buying a new shaver:

As an intermittent rather than a daily shaver, I've tried several different shavers in order to find the type that can cope best with slightly longer stubble and give a good smooth finish which lasts as long as a wet shave.
For some while I've been using a rotary shaver but recently got this to see if it performed any better. This is a serious piece of shaving kit - not some lightweight travel accessory. It feels good and solid to hold and fits well in the hand. After using a rotary, this foil shaver has considerably more vibration but that's just the nature of the beast. It is quite 'chunky', but I guess this is partly due to having a good size battery in there which lasts a lot longer than some other rechargeables. A full charge, which just takes a couple of hours, can last me several weeks of intermittent shaving, or if I forget to recharge it just 5 mins charging gives it enough juice for a quick tidy up.
It comes with a charging lead and stand - the lead...

This is a chunky-looking shaver - it's a decent size and feels very solidly made. It's slightly bigger than the nearest Philips model. The kit comes with a mains lead, cleaning brush, a charging base, and a storage pouch.
The mains lead is the usual curly type, and extends comfortably to about 1.5 metres. The cleaning brush has long and short bristle brushes, and looks like it will last a long time. The charging base seems a bit pointless to me - you can just as easily plug the mains lead directly into the shaver. When lifting the shaver off the charging base, the base usually doesn't detach, so you get an uncool shaver-and-base situation happening. The base is simply too light-weight to counteract the tight-fitting power socket. The pouch is made of black corduroy fleece fabric, with a drawstring at the top. It's nice but on mine the stitching was coming undone on one side, so I put a dot of glue on it to stop it falling apart.
It shaves really well. The...
